Like all procedures, there are a few elements to take into consideration when billing for a Liposuction Operation. The fees include:

•    The Surgeon’s Fee (+/- Assistant’s fee)
•    The Anaesthetist’s Fee
•    The Hospital/Facility Fee (includes both the Theatre & Accommodation Fees)

Liposuction is billed in terms of the time the operation takes, or is expected to take. For ease of reference, some indicative costs are provided for patients.

The total cost is approximately:-

Up to 1 hour: from $5 330*
Up to 2 hours: from $8 900*
Up to 3 hours: from $12 200*
Up to 4 hours: from $16 200*

We are constantly seeking methods to reduce costs for patients. The facility fees vary from place to place, and over time. We are vigilant in watching for options that will save our patients money without compromising results or safety.

**Liposuction is very rarely covered by Medicare and, therefore, Private Health Funds.
