Chemical Peels are a great way to achieve optimum results without the significant ‘downtime’ needed by other intensive treatments. These medical strength facial peels remove the outer layers of the skin and stimulate growth from the deeper layers, resulting in a fresher, smoother and more refined appearance.
As the skin renews from within, dramatic results can be noticed with fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, pigmentation, acne lesions, superficial scarring and overall the skin’s complexion is improved.
For best results, a program of three peels is recommended, and then a review of your results is undertaken. Each session takes about half an hour. The skin does need to be prepared with Aspect Dr home care a minimum of two weeks prior to the first treatment, which is included in the cost of the program.
As several damaged layers of the skin are shed, it is common to feel mildly sun burnt after a peel. Redness, peeling and flaking can occur for a few days.

Programs include three peel treatments, and an Aspect Dr Starter Pack and a thorough skin diagnosis to determine if other skin care is needed.
Skin Preparation with Aspect Dr Starter Pack
The Aspect Dr Starter Pack is comprised of:
· Deep Clean Cleanser (30ml)
· Resveratrol Moisturiser (15ml)
· Active C Serum (6ml)
· Exfol A Plus (6ml)
If you suffer from post Inflammatory hyper-pigmentation or if you are having a more intensive peel (Salicylic Acid Peels – Pigment Punch and Cabernet au Chocolat; or the Vitamin A Retinol Brulee Peel), it is also important to prepare the skin 2 weeks before with the Complete Pigment Serum to inhibit the production of melanin (pigment). This can be used both morning and evening in conjunction with the other serums.
In between treatments and after any peel, it is essential to use a physical sun block. We suggest Aspect Envirostat.
Aspect Dr’s Redless Serum is a corrective anti oxidant calming serum which can be used to help your skin regenerate and stabilize in colour more rapidly. It is used over the top of the other serums both morning and evening, helping to protect and nurture your skin.
