Laser Genesis skin therapy is a technologically advanced, non ablative treatment in targeting skin conditions typically associated with ageing. These include wrinkles, pore size, skin texture, redness and scarring.

By working on the skin’s upper dermis, the Genesis Procedure has been scientifically proven to produce new collagen with no downtime and minimal discomfort. This treatment improves skin health subtly and consistently, by heating up the deeper layers of the skin, as well as focusing on enlarged and inflamed blood vessels to reduce redness.

The treatment consists of a gentle non contact 1064 nanometre laser stimulation of the skin. You will feel some warmth, however most patients describe it as a relaxing procedure, where no numbing creams are required.

Laser Genesis can be used on all areas of the body, skin of any type or colour and is most commonly used on the face and neck. A complete treatment regime is 4 – 6 treatments, 2 – 3 weeks apart. It is common to feel slightly ‘flushed’ after a treatment, however this disappears within a few hours.

Post treatment sun protection is important to maximise results.  Most patients immediately return to normal activities.
